About the event
Rich with Love shares the story of 1st Lt. Richard Collins III, a son of Bowie, Maryland, Bowie State University graduate, and young leader who's life of purpose and service became a catalyst for change. His legacy shaped Maryland's hate crime law, inspired the BSU/UMD Social Justice Alliance, and continues to drive advocacy, education, and remembrance. More than a story of loss, this film is a testament to resilience, hope, and the lasting power of one life to spark change.
